Lately I have been researching a few companies that might be a good match for our services, and it has been an eye-opening practice.
Here’s a quick list of what they DO Have:
- Beautiful, responsive website
- A way to convert website traffic (an opt in, for consultation offer)
- Contact information easily visible on their site
- Active (or at least semi active) Social media sites.
But you know what they are not seeing as a DIRECT result of their online efforts?
Sales.
Yep, it can help people who are leaning towards the buying decision, like referral business, but they aren’t attracting fresh, new clients that found them online.
So what gives?
Since I have been doing online marketing strategy for over four years, I often feel like a doctor with a patient with common symptoms. It is easy for me to diagnose the problem, and offer a couple options to provide the solution they want.
In these cases, they are quitting at third base, not realizing that they are often a movement away from home base.
They have everything ready to deliver, they just need traffic turned on to see the fruits of their labor. To do this, we simply become more active on their social media sites and turn on online traffic, specifically Facebook and Instagram ads.
It is a “faucet” that can be turned on quickly, and can increase the number of targeted people who see your offer right away.
With video ads, slides as video ads, promoted posts, and more, there are so many ways to get your message out on Facebook, and now Instagram.
Where are YOU on the diamond? On first base with a good website? On second base with social media marketing and an offer?
Many times with established companies, the last piece is the one most overlooked…Traffic. And traffic is the difference between drawing in sales from online and going home empty-handed.
